The main way I could use my e-Portfolio is for finding new jobs, by using this it will help me stand out among other people that apply. Since this e-Portfolio has completed final assignments future employers can see what I can do in different sections and subjects. Other categories I could add are final programming projects, final webpage projects, other work from classes that are related to my career, and professional outcomes or qualifications. I think it is a cool way to showcase important information about yourself in a creative way. So employers aren’t just seeing your profession qualities but also your creative side which can be effective in a workplace.
This would be a great basis for a professional e-portfolio if I needed to make one to present myself in the workplace. Depending on my job type, having a solid e-portfolio that clients and employers can look at will bring up my professionalism. I can use this and add events/seminars I’ve attended related to work, examples of the work I’ve completed, and a public place where I can store my resume and LinkedIn site. This site could also help me network and build connections online.
